Dancing To The Beat of Simplicity

A little while ago, I observed that living abroad has caused me to become more mindful and to consequently live more simply.  I made reference to an inspiring speech by Uruguay’s President Jose “Pepe” Mujica on the subject of “Human Happiness and the Environment” in which he urged people to focus on attaining happiness through living simply rather than by accumulating wealth.  Partially in tribute to his advocacy of marijuana legalization , a reggae/dubstep version of his speech, with English, French and Spanish subtitles has begun making the rounds.  I’ll warn you, it’s very catchy, especially for those who in Henry David Thoreau’s words hear a different drummer!
