Metta Monday: Tolerance

“Tolerance is required for those that are different and for those with whom we have differences and disagree.  Tolerance isn’t required for those with whom we agree.  Tolerance is fundamental to the power to live together and to understand that in the world, we are different.”

-Jose Mujica, Address to the United Nations General Assembly, September 25, 2013

Thanks for this piece of Mujica wisdom. You were going to do some translations from his speeches? I think the world needs to hear more about this extraordinary political leader.

Thank you for your kind comment! I still hope to do that, due to work, travel, and poor health I’ve been away from blogging for a while. Thank you for welcoming me back 🙂
