My greatest interests are travel, writing, and mindfulness.  Each is a personal activity, but finds its greatest benefit in assisting others.  This blog and my daily vipassana (insight) meditation practice attempt to combine these activities.  This blog is not solely a record of my current travels, but also my reflections on past and future travel, including writing, people, and activities that inspire me.   I hope that you find the entries here useful, whether your travel is mental or physical.  I welcome your comments and questions in the comments section of the blog (so  that all visitors can see the answer) and personal correspondence at olipsett (AT) gmail  dot com.

Thank you so much for your kind comment Spafford! I just took a look at your website and I look forward to delving into it more deeply. I’ve always wanted to visit Sikkim to practice mindfulness but was put off by the restrictions on lengths of visits, so I’m glad to know there’s a way around them. Thank you again and I look forward to reading your website and being in touch!
